Vegas Stronger is one of the leading experts in Nevada for addiction treatment and alcohol rehab. Our multidisciplinary team of compassionate healthcare providers has decades of experience in treating the biological based disease of alcoholism. We offer a personalized, individual treatment plan for each client. Each treatment plan aims at helping each client recover from alcohol and or substance use disorders so they can achieve their full potential.
Each client’s recovery path is different but begins with the physiological separation from alcohol. At Vegas Stronger we assess each individual client one-on-one with a licensed therapist and determine the best site of service for the individual stages of treatment that are needed. We target and address relapse prevention, coping skills, and psychoeducation, as well as address impaired control, physical dependence, social problems, and risky use.
There are a wide variety of drug and alcohol rehabs available in Las Vegas, Nevada, that have varying paths of treatment. Many programs may include a combination of medical treatment and psychotherapy. However, most will have three of the most important steps toward long-term recovery:
Inpatient treatment provides 24-hour care under the supervision of trained professionals in a hospital setting. It is often provided to those with severe cases, those with co-occurring disorders, or those who have suffered from long-term addiction. This is due to insurance approvals for levels of care. Inpatient treatment provides medical care alongside intensive and highly structured therapy modalities.
Residential treatment is when clients receive care in a nonhospital setting but live with trained professionals and others going through treatment. This type is often helpful for all individuals in need of care, no matter what severity their substance use disorder is considered to be.
Outpatient treatment is when clients receive treatment during the day in a structured way, but go home to their own homes and lives at the end of their sessions. There are different levels of outpatient, ranging from programs that meet once or twice per week to intensive outpatient programs that involve six hours per day of therapy.
Vegas Stronger administers a same-day evaluation with counselors, doctors, and psychiatrists in order to understand if you or a loved one needs detox, a taper, or integration into immediate treatment if the treatment needs to be psychological and or physiological.
Vegas Stronger brings 13 proven strategies for addressing alcoholism, and there are a variety of pharmacological interventions that our treatment team utilize to support treatment. We utilize disulfiram, naltrexone and or acamprosate depending on the specific treatment needs of each client.
We treat co-occurring disorders and many of the treatment plans are enhanced with medication-assisted treatment. We have well-trained prescribers on staff to address both mental health disorders as well as alcoholism. We treat both the physical and mental aspects of addiction with evidence-based therapies and counseling.

Dependency on and addiction to alcohol can happen to anyone, especially as we live in a society where alcohol use is encouraged and celebrated. While not everyone who drinks experiences a substance use disorder, there are many factors that come into play when figuring out of you or a loved one need to seek out treatment in order to return your life to a happy and healthy sense of normalcy. There are many other factors, including genetics and underlying mental disorders, that can contribute to alcohol addiction and millions of Americans struggle with an alcohol use disorder of some kind — from binge drinking to addiction.
