Heather Fisher is a skilled Project Manager, a transformative leader, and a catalyst for change. She currently holds the position of CEO and President at Blue Bird Ventures, where her passion for innovation and comprehensive solutions shines. With over two decades of experience, Heather has played an instrumental role in shaping the success of various organizations.

As the Project Manager for Vegas Stronger™, Heather orchestrated the efficient implementation of critical projects, including the State Opioid Response Grant, which established the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Clinic in just four weeks. Her commitment to excellence extends to grants management and writing, where she in collaboration with the Vegas Stronger™ grant’s department, successfully secured essential funding for initiatives aligned with Vegas Stronger™'s mission in 2023. Heather also spearheaded the development of a comprehensive program under the Community Mental Health Substance Use, Prevention, and Crisis Services grant, supporting individuals with severe mental illness utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques. Additionally, Heather's guidance during the inaugural Joint Commission Site Survey preparation showcased her meticulous approach to quality standards.

Heather Fisher's radiology career is marked by her unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence. She began as an MRI Technologist and progressively advanced to the position of MRI/PET/CT Value Stream Manager, showcasing her commitment and expertise over a decade. Heather's dedication to operational excellence, exemplified by her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt project at the 2018 IHI Summit, remains a defining aspect of her radiology journey. Her active leadership in projects like expanding PET/CT services, improving CT workflow efficiency, and enhancing MRI, CT, and PET protocols, as well as her guidance in equipment installation and upgrades, underscores her commitment to improving healthcare services for all.

Heather Fisher's career took a significant turn when she founded Blue Bird Ventures, a consulting firm dedicated to fostering organizational empowerment through continuous improvement, problem-solving, and project execution. BlueBird Ventures specializes in partnering with organizations to drive transformative change, utilizing tailored Lean Six Sigma methodologies for Radiology and Behavioral Health sectors. Heather works closely with her clients to craft innovative solutions and establish data-driven, enduring change. Her achievements extend to noteworthy successes in grant writing and MRI consulting in the Radiology field.

She established this business with a deeply personal motivation, having experienced her father's suicide and her own battles with depression and addiction. Recognizing the gaps in the Behavioral Health field, she is committed to addressing these issues, ensuring that others do not suffer from the same challenges of suicide, addiction, and depression.
