“Shawnee” Elizabeth Morris is a Case Manager here at Vegas Stronger, and has worked in the field of Addiction Counseling and Criminal Justice for 25 years. Shawnee obtained her BA in Psychology from Bethany University and has been a CADC in California and Nevada. In California, Shawnee worked as a Program Manager and State Programs Director, managing multiple clinics supporting parole and probation programs and DUI education programs.

Morris’ Nevada experience includes Substance Abuse Counseling in both outpatient and residential settings, and extensive work with Clark County Court programs. Shawnee has also worked in Case Management for several years, and enjoys meeting and working with clients at various levels of care.

Shawnee has been in recovery from addiction for 39 years and continues to actively pursue personal recovery goals. Our Case Manager stated, “Nothing brings more joy than seeing the light come on in someone’s eyes, seeing families reunited, witnessing the profound transformation that takes place when an addict gets willing to give recovery a try. To be a small part of somebody’s journey is a great privilege.”
